Annie Leibovitz in Berlin - A Must-See!

Annie Leibovitz has been called the world's most celebrated and acclaimed female photographer of our time - and rightly so. She was the last person to professionally photograph John Lennon - he was shot and killed five hours later. She gained fame for her popular work for the Rolling Stone and Vanity Fair. In 2000, she was responsible for the Pirelli calendar. And in 2007, Leibovitz was asked by Queen Elizabeth II to take her picture.

From 20 February - 24 May 2009 an exhibition called "A Photographer's Life. 1990 - 2005", which includes 200 partly large-scale monochrome landscape shots, private family photos and black and white portraits by Annie Leibovitz, takes place at the C/O studio in Berlin. To coincide with the exhibition, C/O introduces the US american photographer in a discussion on 21 February, in which the photographer will provide insight into her work, personal experiences, and views.
